LifePath (formerly Franklin County Home Care Corporation)
LifePath has been working with Western Mass. elders and people with disabilities for over 40 years. Their 150-page static HTML website was a bit of a senior citizen as well, so we completely redesigned and rebuilt the site in Joomla for easy updating.
Special features include an easy-to-use donation component; integrated Google Calendar to display upcoming events; color coding to distinguish the various sections of the site; and a frequently updated blog.
The responsive design is easily accessible from mobile devices, including a low-bandwidth option for slow connections.

Refuge International
Refuge International, a Texas-based nonprofit organization, sponsors medical mission trips to Guatemala and improves thousands of lives through free medical care, education, and clean water. We completely overhauled their existing site, giving it a bright, tropical look and feel and a responsive design. Joomla made it easy to include features like online donations (including "thermometers" to track progress toward fundraising goals), online application forms for mission trips and other events, and integrated blogs.

Free Union Country School
Free Union Country School is a small private day school in Virginia, serving preschool through fifth grade. Their Joomla site is a central source for school news and information, both for students and parents and for the wider community. We recently completed a full design overhaul, including a mobile-responsive design, new branding, and many vibrant photos.

Amherst Montessori School
Amherst Montessori School of Amherst, Massachusetts had a basic do-it-yourself website, but they wished to update their design to match their printed materials. We built an extensive Joomla website, including plenty of student photos, full details on their programs, admissions information, an events calendar, and staff biographies.
Recently, we completed a full redesign that included responsive design, making the site easily accessible on mobile devices and tablets. Automated translation is included as well, making it easy for the multinational school community to access information.

Atlas Farm
I originally built a static HTML website for this organic farm in Deerfield, MA. After a couple of years, they decided to move up to a Joomla site, which allowed us to add features like photo slideshows, online sign-up for their Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, and a visually interesting harvest calendar.
We completed a total design overhaul in 2013, with a restful, peaceful look that springboarded from a photo of barn boards.
